Movie Mashup - 300 VS The Matrix
"placeholder"
Just found out about the theme today, I'm not a movie buff or something but two of my favorite films has got to be 300 and The Matrix..The mood, the fight sequences,..I have nothing to show atm but my initial idea is the cliff scene from 300, but instead of Xerxes' men I imagine Mr. Smiths and the flying robot thingies from Matrix those with tentacles.. Yup I was in fact considering the concept the other way around..but I'm more leaning towards the above concept..But we'll see..thanks for the GL..

I would do it in 2D but most probably a 3d proxy model of the Sentinel robot will be made then I'll paint over it. I'm still undecided on the overall image I would do atm I'm trying to get as much inspiration and reference over the net, watching several you tube vids just to get the hang of the theme..Hopefully by this week I'll post more wips..Thanks to everyone who visited the thread cheers

I won't be able to finish this one apparently this late into the competition, we don't have electricity for the last 3 days due to a typhoon..darn..
