Hair stylizing plugin?
Is there one or do you have to style it manually? Because if it's the latter, I'd need a real good tutorial on it.

Which software package?
Max and Maya both come with their own hair plugin. In max its the Hair and Fur plugin. For Maya I'm not sure. |

Hairfarm for 3DSmax looks really hot.
For Maya there is shave and haircut, but it's do-able with the standard tools if needs be. Definitely use p_hairtk though for the rendering in both cases. |

shave and haircut are great, but i found that it can be pretty difficult to model a long hair.
i still haven't found the best approach yet, with planes maybe ? |
