Movie Mashup -- Sleeping Beauty on Elm Street -- BrokenART
This sounds like a great challenge. I'm going to cross Disney's Sleeping Beauty with Nightmare on Elm Street. It will be mostly 2D, but may utilize some 3D.

Ok, so I've made a bit of progress. In order to get the stretching effect on the wall, I created some low-res proxy geometry of the evil witch Maleficent, then created a dynamic cloth object for it to press against.

And what about textures? Will it be like in Disney cartoons?

Great concept!!
I hear there's a new Freddy film coming out too! May also be cool to have a direct Freddy link like have his blade fingers cutting through on one side of the roof or his sweater texture built into the BG somewhere. Just an idea ![]() |

Try to make it a bit more "stretchy" to polish the look... Great stuff though!

So it's getting close to being finished, but I've still got some work to do on the lighting on Princess Aurora and better integrating her with the wall behind her. Wanting to keep an old school Disney 2D animation feel, but with a bit more rendering.
