Like the arm. Very technical stylish thing but not that technical to look slender organic like the e.g. the nanosuite in Crysis more that kind of brute technical looking stuff from... Bioshock or so. Pretty cool.
What might be improved is the beveling of the individual parts. Even if it's a lowpoly, your normal map will look much better if you remove harsh 90 corners and go with beveled edges. But since it's still wip I'm not sure if you even wanted to do this at the end.

Edit: Doh! A bit of a miss-step on the handle regarding the design it seems... I forgot that the seam should only be on leather grips and not threaded

And yeah they are going into Skyrim, I have also fixed those seams that come up when texturing circular on a polygonal object (simply pushed the UVs a bit).

xxxcubanxxx - Hey! Yes it can, I totally agree with you. However this is among the lower tiers of the viking swords. I plan on making the chieftain swords and what not later on that will be a bit more ornamental . If you have any ideas I'd be happy to hear them!

Made this morning.

Text is written as a sort of rosetta stone of its message, dragonbane in swedish (drakbane), in the three languages of Skyrim with the coolest fonts (luckily enough three that fit its use)
