Took me quite a while for the correct terrain and camera position.

The terrain is part of the regular fractal terrain shader and a Redirect Shader for the overhangs.

The clouds are, in my opinion, the center stage in this render, especially for the volumetric depth at 8000.

Minor postwork in Photoshop CS4.

Ground and rock textures courtesy of CGTextures.

Pretty impressive but you really need better lighting IMO. I like the direction your going here but for me at least I think it needs some tweaking here and there.

yeah I agree with chunky. I like the direction you're going but I think it needs some more tweaking.
