Looks pretty good. The plane model is very nice. The reflection of the plane is a little strong. It looks like it's sitting on water atm.

is the concept, but that's the effect I want to achieve, that it might have rained recently....

fancy!!!
There are a lot of comp things you should rethink and adjust. Like there is this cloud on the back that looks like its a giant antena coming out of the plane. And right where it meets the plane there is a black stub, so it really makes it look like an antenna. The next thing is the reflecting, its all up in your face. Tone it down. The white cloud by the car. Is this a cloud covering the sun? maybe is because the car is not textured yet but it just looks really weird. The water on the scene, it just looks weird to me, is the entire plane sitting on it? is the whole run way flooded? i dont see water anyhwere else. ( even tho this takes up half the image. ) The car and the plane look way too white! :P I really wanna see this finished! I almost wanna try doing something like this. Would it be possible for you to post up a break down of how this scene is put together? Keep up the good work! |

hehe thanks Raul
Actually, the picture is just the concept of what it should be at the end, mostly to show it to my teacher... that's why the sky doesn't fit, as the lighting/shadows... The water, I want to give the feeling as if it had rained recently, that's why the huge reflection of the plane, I'll start the textures pretty soon and unwrap everything. By a break down, what you mean? And thanks for the words ![]() |

not lies!!!
![]() The background is compd in PS...I think I have more control over the picture like that, I'm showing the layers of my psd file, pretty simple actually... And btw...I have a teacher at school that follows your work there's a girl studying with me and she is doing an old shop. She was looking for an old coffee grinder, I knew you've made so I showed her and my teacher said that he knew your work....*edit : don't forget is still a wip, I know the errors it has, it's just what I want the picture to look like at the end... ![]() Last edited by h2k1; 07-08-2010 at 04:39 AM.. |

about the breakdown, i meant more like how your scene was set up, not just how the passes were made up. Tho, very cool!
What school do you go to? if you dont mind me asking. |

so here's the scene setup, only a VRay sun, parameters are there...there's a VRay sky map and options under render are set on medium.

whoa! dude! that looks awesome! The only thing i would say is that the spec of the plane, is a little odd. The whole plane looks like a toy compared to the amount of detail on the car.
Totally loving the composition and the final result!! |

It looks good, by why are you using a fake reflection? why not render a real reflection?

actually, is the picture that gave me the whole concept, so my teacher thought it was way more interesting leaving like that, thinking that is for real, but when you pay more attention, is another picture...
