BMW S1000RR Bike
Wanted to model a bike for a while so had a look around and decided to model the most mental bike I could find. Have been slowly working on this the last few months, still a bunch to do, bolts and cables etc. All SubD in Max with no intersecting geo, rendered with Vray. C&C Welcome.

Shouldn't be so hard to get a job, you've got some serious modeling skills.
Outstanding work on that bike! What kind of references do you have for that bmw? Most images show the racing version. |

jup im no way of a pro or anything close to that, but those first screens showed you have a lot of potential...im jealous :P
about those details if im honest im a bit dissapointed but it has for sure to do more with the 'compression and quality' of the pics than the models it self... I think honestly your model is great and i hope to see more of this, like a regularly updated thread and keep us posted on the progress ![]() |

zortech: Thanks, likewise man; if you don't have a job already. Had a look on your site and your stuff is awesome.
zortech/Zlatovous: Cheers. I don't have the bike no, I wish. Generally just using a bunch of images from google, just got to be careful with the searches, the image size filter definitely helps. Usually find some good images when just web searching for reviews of said item, usually have some detail shots the image searches don't pick up. Little harder now seeing as google changed the image search, much prefer the old setup. Mix and matched a few odd bits like the exhaust and brake discs as the racing/mods look way better than the stock versions. Going to be leaving things like the numberplate and wing mirrors for a more racing look as well. It's a fairly famous bike so that helps with the images, there's even a bunch of images of the engine block with cutaway sections. tillaart36: Thank you. Not entirely sure what you mean by compression and quality as they're just wip shots, I don't see the need to sit around for hours for super clean renders. Bit of noise on the reflections for a quick render is fine for me. In terms of the designs, blame BMW as, the model is pretty accurate. Feel free to correct me if I completely missed the point ;p Jojomondag: Thanks man, most of it isn't very optimised but I don't mind showing wires. Any parts in particular you wanted to see? raptoreagle: hahah, cheers dude, will do. HansKa: ツ May get a bit done tomorrow if I'm not too hungover heh, stay tuned. |
