Here is a new car I was working on for about 12 hours. This really isnt low polly...the count is over 5000...I know I have to add some details to the car and add the textures...let me know what you think. thanks

i think is very good, and the poly count isnt too high, for how the model look, this kinda of car can be used in games like NFS,no?

i think textured will be really good, is a real car, or just something you mae up?

Thanks for the reply...This car was going to be a 2000+ toyota celica but I added some twists to it...I basically made this model to go into my portfolio after I graduate next term. I'll be adding some update shots when I get a chance to work on it some more. Thanks again for your reply.

for a game???

i don't think we'll se this model in a game.
the graphic for a game must be too optimized.
nowdays we are seeing game cars of 10000 and more polys, like in racing evoluzione from the italian Milestone(i'm italian ),but all the polys are on model for a reason that isn't to make the model siluette smooth but for add details where was't possible before.
i'don't know the technique you have used but for a game even nowdays the better choice is boxmodelling without any sort of automatic tessellization like metanurbs , nurms etc.
Try to add detail on the base lowpoly mesh and reach 5000 polys without tessellization and the result will be better.

If you read at the top...I stated that this model would go in my portfolio...which translated into english (not italian)...it will not be in a game. think about it son before posting.

here is some update pics....I still need to texture the headlights model the side view mirrors and tail lights. I need to re-weld the car together...so nevermind the crease. well, I got to do alot of stuff, so go figure.....let it roll!
