SL:MIMA short film competition

Hey everybody,

I want to introduce a very nice short film competition:

The Swan Lake: Moving Image& Music Award, short SL:MIMA, is an
international and exclusively by students organized short film competition
of the University of Applied Science Mittweida.
Every film will be created on the basis of a modern piece of piano, which
will be choosen out of a pool of contemporary music played by piano.
Co-operation partner for this purpose is a worldwide network of free
pianists – www.newagepiano.net.

We are looking for a creative contribution up to November 21st, 2010.
The films will be awarded in the following categories:

Animated film:
To let sights disappear, let elephants do mischief in a china shop or
create a new world.
Animate what your computing machine and first of all your creativity admits.

Digital film:
Permitted is everything what you make of it. A good idea with the music of
New Age Piano produces the contribution for this category.

Interactive film:
Whether left, right or right through the middle of life. Wherever it goes
will not you decide, but your audience.

Der Swan Lake: Moving Image & Music Award, kurz SL:MIMA, ist ein
internationaler und ausschließlich von Studenten organisierter
Kurzfilmwettbewerb der Hochschule Mittweida. Jeder Film wird auf
Grundlage eines modernen Klavierstücks gestaltet, welches aus einem
Pool zeitgenössischer Klaviermusik gewählt wird. Kooperationspartner
hierfür ist www.newagepiano.net, ein weltweites Netzwerk freier
Pianisten.

Wir suchen deinen kreativen Beitrag bis zum 21. November 2010.
Prämiert werden Filme in den folgenden Kategorien:

Animationsfilm:
Sehenswürdigkeiten verschwinden lassen, Elefanten im Porzellanladen
Unheil anrichten lassen oder fremde Welten erschaffen. Animiert was
eure Rechenmaschine und vor allen eure Kreativität zu lässt.

Digitaler Film:
Erlaubt ist, was ihr draus macht. Eine gute Idee verbunden mit der
Musik von New Age Piano ergibt den Wettbewerbsbeitrag für diese
Kategorie.

Interaktiver Film:
Ob links, rechts oder mitten durchs Leben. Wo es lang geht, das
entscheidet nicht ihr, sondern euer Publikum.
