gumby666 - Sketchbook

Been seeing some amazing work on this forum so I thought I'd chuck some stuff online for crits and feedback.
Just miscellaneous images started while on the train to work and some played with later.
Really want to improve my skills so any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Pencil, Photoshop & Painter used.

Interesting style. I like especially the two animal's portrais. Also the human creatures have impressed me - because of poses and movements of their bodies.

Thanx for the feedback lobster!
Yeah I want to finish off the animal pics sometime soon as I enjoyed doing them.
Here's a couple more I've dug up.
First is a CD cover I did using an acrylic painting I did as the BG and some 3D elements and photoshopping to finish.

This one is a photo taken at a freeway access underpass (which has since been closed off ) and then just played with levels and hue/saturation.

An old sketch I've finally decided to resurrect.
Originally sketched this way before Avatar came out so the influence was more from Miyazaki and Final Fantasy.
Just a quick paint using Painter to flesh it out and will try my hand at a detailed paint from now on.
Any crits would be really welcome!!
Not sure whether to proceed in Photoshop or Painter.....

Ok I've brought it into Photoshop because I suck a little less at that than Painter.
Done some more work on it and am hoping for some feedback.
Still needs a lot more work but this is starting to flesh him out a bit.
Does anyone know a good site you can download free Photoshop brushes from??
