So, what I understand from it is that it is some sort of compositing package, am I right? So I can see this as a simple replacement form After Effects since I only use AE for simple color corrections and to combine different render passes. But it seems like this program is also capable of doing that for a much lower price.

I think so, Nukie^^ But Iīm not quite sure if itīs "just" a Player which is capable of showing multiple prepared streams combined together or if itīs really a compositing software containing filters for keying etc?!

EDIT: Found a little VIDEO showing the Player in action.
