uninstalling 3dsmax

ok, theres a big ole story to go along with this but ill put it as a summary.....

basically, i tried render, max closed, wouldnt open, so i restarted my computer, tried opening max again and still had the error, so i tried uninstalling it and it uninstalled, so i tried reinstalling it which broke my computer all the way so then since i have windowsxp, i went into safemode under administrator and restored my computer back to when it was working, and then i got my computer back to where it would load windows, i tried uninstalling max again and it wouldnt, soooooo this is where im stuck now because in order for me to use max again, i will have to uninstall it to reinstall it so it will fix the problems.... and xp has this thing where it says to fix the problems but anytime i click that it goes through the a:\ drive which is the 3 1/2 floppy drive and my max is on cd, soooooo, any help

oh, and also i tried going to add and remove programs and that wont work.... so any help on getting max allllll the way off my computer?

sometimes windows can get hairy

i'd try to create a new profile and then try reinstalling max

if not you might be sol and have to reinstall windows
