smoothing group tutorial?

Anyone ho knows any good smoothing group tutorial for 3dsm?

I presume he means a tutorial for using smoothing groups well...

Don't know of any off of the top of my head, but it's pretty straightforwards.

Try making a box with a few segments on each side, converting it to an editable mesh, making a reference clone of it (with mesh smooth applied - make sure you check the 'by smoothing groups' box), and playing with the original. It's very easy to pick up, and this method just highlights which areas are smoothed nicely and which aren't.
