Software Used: Softimage, 3DS Max, Vray, Photoshop, UVLayout

Description: Kamaz, Russian heavy duty truck. Modeling done in Softimage, rendering in 3DS Max/Vray. UVLayout for UVs, textures painted in Photoshop. This was a fun project, done mainly to research Softimage modeling tools as well as V-ray 2.0.

A lot of these still operate in Poland, polluting the air like no other vehicle.

Capable of exuding stunning quantities of fumes.

But I really like the image.

go to his blog, there's a wire turntable there - just an odd observation the tire threads seem a bit off, the elements bending towards the rims

wow, everything has been properly textured, the only off's for me is a bit too much spec at some places, and the tyre textures still seem non-weathered as compared to other parts, rest a pretty good render.
