Really beautiful.
I wonder though. The animation @ 18 and 19 sec shows a gold claw that is build up by elements. Wonder how to do something like that. |

In answer to your question Nukie, its done through scripting in 3ds max/maxscript. The amount of objects is the biggest hurdle to overcome but with an efficient pipeline it becomes manageable.
