funny that mate is was thinking about doing the Arc gun from district 9 as i brought the art of district 9 book the other day and its got some kool refs of the weapons etc and would be more of a texturing exercise coz ive gotta get my texturing sorted out sharpish

didnt see you had posted that in the job section yeah would be nice but maybe a little to far out of my comfort zone

i'd press "like" buton on your thought about district9 weapon, but we dont have "like buttons" . these concepts are awesome. saw them some time ago on the net. got some picking jaw from the ground action after seeing em :d. as for out of comfort zone practis - it the best practise there is .

no real modeling or design yet (**** windows and doors ect) just trying so suss out vray abit more so i can render things lol

im still having trouble getting a EXR render out of VFB that matches color wise :$

should i have the srgb button checked when checking lighting and materials because that seems to be what i getting back ! where i want the render without the srgb make any sense ?

It's taking shape nicely though, i'd consider decreasing the rippled glass size or a frosted/smokey glass effect for the front door & window.
