Erza inspired(fairy tail) WIP

still got some work to do on the model, but looking for a bit more direction, critique?

and i know the hair's pretty whack, not too sure what to do about that...
and there is detail on the feather's but annoyingly can't be seen from far...

Good work so far, for the hair i think there are too buffy and they cover the face too much. Can we see some wire and a clay render could be good to see too.

Thanks for the reply.
Realise the hair really wasn't working out so thought I'd invest the time into learning to make real hair.
Not so easy, if anyone has tips would be very much appreciated! using shave and a haircut

PS will try get some other renders up soon

Well if you want to take the time to learn shave and haircut you can get really great result.
Digital tutors has a good tutorial for the basics of shave and haircut maibe that will interest you.

hehe thanks, tho I actually used the tutorials which are extreeeemely helpful, but from looking on forums it seems to be a common issue that it's difficult to get long hair to a point and to not spread out near the tips.
What I've got there is what I did in one night so suppose should mess with it bit more but a bit stuck!
