Brainstorming:
God of Desperation
God of Lost Causes
God of Apathy
God of Glorious Carnage

Desperation: We are Bad Men, Doing Bad things in the name of Truth and Justice because there is no other way. We are the Unwanted, Unloved, Uncared About. We are the Pain of Loneliness, the Sorrow in Lost, the Question of How we can go one. We are the Murderer and the Victim, the Innocent and the Guilt... All turn to us. All Embrace us. All become us.

Multifaceted Creature twisting and writhing in its own agony.

Lost Causes: He always breaks out on the last lap, everyone knows this. The sure thing. A land war in Asia. Whatever his cause it is doomed to failure. The universe is doomed as is life, survival, a chance for happiness, Big-ToE getting everyone at 3DT is tattoo the team logo on their sacks. Any endeavor will fail, and time that victory is assured it is snatched from him, the flawless plan that at the most critical of moments revealing the flaw that was not thought of.

A lone dejected and broken looking man.

Apathy: I really can't be bothered by this right now.

Emo-Teen... meh.

I really like the silhouette of 5 the kinda fat little dude, but I do like the wolf style one too.

We'll see what happens, right now I'm the Wolfman and the Tribal Mask Guy are the ones I'm been playing the most with. But every time I look at #4 I just like the oddity of it, not what one would expect from a god in that Cthulhu sort of way.

Admittedly the fat spear guy could be really fun. I keep thinking that I could make him the lost causes one.

The wolf keeps ending up like a hairy snake-headed creature, like a Were-Quetzalcoat or something. Not a bad concept, but not really fitting any of my god concepts ATM. The Wolf or Rat heads I try make it look too cliche.

I think I find the fat guy the most interesting of those sketches. Something about his stance makes him the most godly looking.

Okay I'm convinced. I'll go with Porkins the God of the Little Fat Guy that is always in the wrong place at the wrong time, screwing things up for the people that need him not to be there.

Paulius - that does raise an interesting question. I'd disregarded the cartoon thing since the examples were all 2D, but where is that line between stylized and cartoon?

Mario or Sonic would be cartoons, but Team Fortress 2 I would say is stylized. I'll have to ask ToE about this.
