Hi guys, here it is a little variation on this chick... I'm still working on the concept and the overall shape...
This is just a simple experiment with clothing and make up.. |

I like the face paint, but the metal pants and what not aren't working for me. Not sure, I was thinking that she needed chains and leather...

Agree with dhin... the make up, earrings and the tatoo and bracers on the upper arm looks quite ok with the rest of the concept but the metal is way off... make her look more mechanic and so not really keen for "lust and perdition".
Also for the stripes floating aroundi don't know if i like them or not... they give more of a mystical look but they should be pointy or something with a tribal tatoo shape maybe anyway the work so far is great (like it even more since you're italian too :P) |

I think if could work either, whether you continue with the sci-fi elements or revert back to the fantasy motif you started with.
I'm not convinced the claws work for the sci-fi version, I'd expect them to have some metal details as well, since the metal on her back seems to be integrated into her. If you're gonna do the sci-fi thing, you're really gonna have develop that and make it work. Right now it feels a little half-hearted.

@dhin: I really like the facial make up.
For the lower part, I don't know, leather seems not to be the thing I'd use on this character: of course it recalls "erotic" flavours, but I think it's not so appropriate for a divine being... @Fnitrox: Che bello vedere un italiano ogni tanto:P! Yes, you're right, maybe mechanical features, as I realized them, don't really fit the "lust and perdition" motif I've chosen for this goddess.. for the stripes, the idea is right, mystical look... well I'm going to try out some variations tomorrow to find something more acceptable than what I have now. @Warlock 279: What you said is absolutely logical, I'm still trying to develop a good overall look, tomorrow I'll do some little thumbnails to have a better overall view of this chick. |

The chains and leather was a joke. I think that Warlock hit the problem on the head, it seems too inconsistent mixing the sci-fi and fantasy elements.
In the way you've developed her story, she is like a lure the danger of her is hidden behind sensuality and beauty. I'd play on that more with the clothing, I like the idea of thin and wispy coverings draped over her more than a form fitting metal or leather bits. And I'd stay with that original idea, playing on the Greek / Egyptian type styles for them. Add LOTS of jewelery and trinkets too. Adorn her with the babels that her victims lavish on her. I mean you could almost cloth her in gold and silver chains holding bits of transparent cloth on her haphazardly. I like the hands and the way they look, I think that more of that type of texture and style should continue on the back of her arms, her back, and other non-sexual areas would be good. She should be sexy and alluring, but there should still be that air of true ugly danger about her too. The wings and snake headed tail are both cool ideas and I would keep those and play with them to punctuate that.

Fantastic art so far. Thank you for posting your progression. The blocky effects around her body that are similar to the part on her torso help provide some unique interest.

Hello guys.
here's one of the latest concepts for the lady... The idea of the snake for this character, came to my mind from the outset . The snake is an animal that lends itself particularly well to the "seductive" role: Just think of the biblical stories, or simply look at its very smooth and sinuous shape. At the same time, it is very dangerous and silent, and just like the lady here, attacks silently and like a thief in the night .There are many ways to imagine this snake in the figure ... I think I have totally put aside the idea of a snake headed tail , and I do not like the idea of a "greek Medusa" like hairstyle. this way seems the best: a sort of summoned creature that is part of the mind of the goddess, but in a separate body. Furthermore, I think I have almost finished the dress, but still missing something ... something that gives more balance to the figure .. total lack of ideas Then in the attachments you'll also find the concept for the medallion that the chick is wearing, with a mini tribute to one of my favorite musicians ![]() ![]() |

Nice! Will be sexier with the snake like that, that's for sure.

really good. will you try to transfer the comic style like suggested above or are you going to be more realistic when you do the 3d?
I think a lot of the appeal comes from the stylization.
