Is it just me, or aren't we seeing any epic gods but just the same characters that would fit in any of the other DWars.

Well due to the delays I assume 50% started early before the brief was released or 50% RQ.

There are cool designs over there, but as stated above, they could take part in past DWs.
Greeks and Romans had very clear God symbols such as clothing, topologies, weapons and much more complements. By taking a look at some clasical sculptures, you can quickly recognize which of them represent Gods over other historical or ficticial characters. The same happened in Egypt. We shall stand out of the past topics and give our entries the divinity they deserv. Taking a look at our forums I see great work btw, keep on with it!! __________________ DWV WIP entry Blog Last edited by wil_himura; 24-03-2011 at 01:56 PM.. |

Hmm, now last war rewarded technique...
The design is not boring, it's really interesting. But I do share your point of view in some way thefmilyofblood. ![]()

I understand that it's a competition of technical skill, but I still would like to see some new(ish) ideas bandied about. His just looks the same as N0X.

I wouldn't say it's a competition of technical skill, it's a competition on design and technical skill is a part of that.
Slipgate designed something and used his technical skill to achieve that design, that's what made it great. |

Are you refferring to this http://www.cgtalk.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=23293?
Technically awesome, and although there are hundreds of drones, cyborgs, mechas out there, this one is quite original. Outstanding in many ways, this guy had everything under control, even the armor functionality. Bravo. I regret I missed so many good work in past copetitions... |
