ATOMHAWK – 2D - Rise of the Atomhawk - migroe
hi, everybody!
since I'm going to join both the atomhawk and the dw-challenge, it took a little bit of time, to find two interesting concepts. but I think, I found a point from which I can start. so my first sketches will be posted in the next days... good luck to all of you and let's have a lot of fun ![]() |

here's my first wip. wanted to make some kind of fantasy/adventure/action-painting.
so my atomhawk is something like a semi-god and didn't show himself for hundrets of years. now he's back because a nameless evil floods our world with it's army... ok, lame story, but nice fx hope you like it |

thanks guys! after many hours I have the feeling of progress. I changed the composition just a little and worked mostly on the background. the wings should now have their final shape so I can start to work out the feathers - bye bye, rest of my weekend

so here's another update. still so much to do
thanks yinteck for your help, I tried to change it a bit but I think it's still not looking 100% correct?I tried to paint the wings for at least 4 times, everytime a disaster - but this time it will work (tried it on a seperate painting) hope I can show them to you by the end of the weekend. and then the missing hand, the head, also there will be a colour- and contrast-correction sooner or later. and I should start to think about the font for the title... still so much to do ![]() well, let me know what you think and I hope you like it |

only a few days left and I think that there are very nice entries so far! hope we'll see some updates soon from trashmito, vnmribaya etc. you're still in I hope?
here's my latest wip: the wings are almost done was a pretty hard job but I think it was worth it...same question like mr. reedux: is my painting too bright/dark? on my "calibrated" monitor (no colorvision spyder or sth like that) it looks perfect and on my non-calibrated notebook-screen it's just a little too bright. would be great if you let me know ![]() |
