metal looks awesome as does the rest of the clock. One thing that needs a bit of attention is the glass - specifically the reflections in it. A few shapes from the light source, would suit it just fine.
Nice work never the less |

Thanks rocneasta, glad you like it
. The glass is actually hidden in this render. I wanted to get the right overall feeling first. Because glass takes ages to render.

Im finally back on this project.
I lost the last render setup, so i have made up this one following a studio tutorial on the net, and lots of trying. On this render the glass i rendered, and now i just need to find a way to brighten up the Watchface, maybe i need to render it in passes and composit in PS. There are some post production on the images, but only some hue/saturation and colour correction.

Looking very nice
![]() Yeah, a pass could do it wonders, but it is nice to have it all down in render. Maybe the reflection is set too high on the glass so its blocking the watchface? I think that looks like a plausible explanation actually looking at it.

Thanks guys.
Kage, that could actually be the problem, and i have tried to dial in the reflection settings to get a better face to the watch. Okay here is another render i just did. I have worked on the colour balance, the glass shader and tried to get a solid composition down. Crits are welcome, so post them. And i will see what i can do the fix it ![]()

Actually looking a lot better now!
Nice subtle reflections on the glass face too you couldn't see before, maybe because of the dialed down reflections. Even so, I think you could dial them down slightly more, but maybe not. Maybe it looks right now? All that is needed now I think is to match that warmer looking render you have at the top. I think it suits it better than the cooler style you have going now.

Thanks mate, i will check some more reference and see where im at.
![]() Yep i will probably go for a more warmer tone, i fiddled with the renders white balance, to get the watchface as close as white without the glass as possible. That was for me to have a reference point when it comes to the glass shader. Ah well back to work, will try and have some more tests up later today.
