@silverflame = awesome entry was just starting to model this one myself, will choose a reserve now. LOL, fantastic job and clean and well structured modelling
@pables = a great entry, very clean mesh and I love that clay, we will have to start sharing modo stories soon :0)

Great entries everyone, I am trying to get back into 3d as I realize it's really what I want to do with my life.. Haven't posted in quite a while but this idea popped into my head when I read the title so I had a go at it. Would have liked to put more detail into the innards of it but I ran out of time. The three buttons are different blend speeds haha.

Sarn HAHa, very funny and creative one, and the model is clean and good looking. The beauty render could be improved with a nice studio lighting though. |

Here is my entry... I think its that thing that goes bump in the night. I can't be sure. When I hear that bump I usually cower under my blankets and wait for day to come....
There were a lot of repeats so I deleted them from the wire frames for you to see better. If need be I can give you the wire frame with everything there. Done in 3ds Max Modeled in about 31 minutes give or take a few seconds. Last edited by GaretJaxSozap; 25-05-2011 at 03:05 PM.. |

At least one more is coming! Hope i have enough time for the beauty, but probably not. I just need to upload the entry basically. Too bad there's not that many entries yet!
SilverFlame: Absolute Stunning entry again. Always wonder how you manage to do that much in that little time. Guess it must be real fluency with the tools you work with ![]() SarN: Nice conceptual work, funny and goodlooking entry! |

Thanks, basically it's lots or hot-keys and a good memory of what's assigned to each key...plus careful planning beforehand, I think that's key otherwise you waste time trying to figure stuff as you go.

Yeah. The careful planning is what's lacking i guess, that's where you can gain a lot of time. I'll see if i can deal with that for the next challenge. Thanks for the insight.
