My Sketchbook

This is the thread which im going maintain with the purpose of sharing the interesting pieces from my sketchbook. I will look forward for some constructive crits on these artworks.

Dragon

well ... I wanted to do a rendering of a dragon .... but since im not happy with the details ... i thought of putting it in to my sketchbook collection .... 7 hours for the whole piece ... i think thats too long ... but anyway here it is .... I referred to a dragon miniature when drawing this .....

Nice drawings, you have a good grasp on the little details.

And the details are my criticism because you are focusing on that instead of the proportions.

Also, I feel that even though you do put so much detail in the clothing and armors, the eyes of your characters just make them feel lifeless since they are just black circles (Reminds me of Caroline and the buttons for eyes).

Thanks Dark_Maggot .... yeah i know that issue with the proportions ...... And Frankly ... i am having a damn hard time with that .....

And about eyes ..... I have revised all my past artworks and i think you are right !!! ... thanks for pointing that out .... i will be focusing on that extra carefully in future .... thanks again .....

The battle station is interesting. The human figures yes the maggot is right. Why don't you try to draw only faces. And just a question - do you draw the nude figure first and then to add the clothes or you skip the first?
