Kitana - Sorry for late reply coz I didnt vist 3dtotal for a while ... freakingly busy at office !!!!!
Im doing some portraits of course ... but still didnt come out nice enough to share in a community like this one ... heh heh ..... I dont do a detailed nude figure ... but i usually outline a one, erase it and then work on it .... and i time it for like maximum 3 hours .... maybe thats a mistake too .... But i should really work on nude figures ..... i have started some life drawing already which i will share with everyone soon for some good critiques !!!!! .... actually this figure thing is a big problem to me .... i think PRACTICE is the only answer ....... Keep up your arts too .... wish you all the best ... coz they are coming up really good ..... !!!! Thanks ...... |

Don't be funny - share all you do ( maybe you will receive some useful comments).
The practice is the answer indeed and observation too. And it is a matter of time you know - with good detail and anatomy you will become really good artist. And thank you about the last row Same 2 u

You've got some nice attention to details on those, you should practice more real life posing, keep it up.
Oh, and some tip: -A silence zone is an area where there is nothing (or quite nothing), an "empty" zone. Exemple on your last girl: the thighs -Contrast can be use in both ways.

Imagine one lonely big square and a lot of small squares, wich one are you gonna look at? => The big one.
Now imagine a lot of big squares, let's say a gang of big squares, and a small lonely square, wich one are you gonna look at? => The small one. So here we've got two things: size and number. But about size contrast, that's the main subject of my exemple, I wanted to show you that I could either point to the big one or to the small one, I reversed the size contrast just using numbers and groups. There is plenty of other approaches like this, another exemple a black scene with a white spot, or a white scene with a black spot, see I can reverse da focus. That's what I mean with "both way", hope it can help you.

If you paint a white background for this eagle, with some nice outline work, and blend it a bit with grey tones on down part, it'll pop out more. Good stuff.
