Maybe you are trying to be too creative. (as we spoke on the previous thread).

Stick to what you know and can do, follow some tutorials, let be guided.

Donīt feel lonely, you have the same problem that artists, architects, designers and cg artists face in a moment of their lifes: not knowing what to on a blank sheet of paper, in our case, a blank screen.

The fact is that this is not a problem of what to do as most people would say, it īs a problem of how to do. Because when you know how to do something the what becomes secondary.

Itīs not that the 3d artists have a bright moment of inspiration and then they come up with some incredible front page artwork. This requires a lot of work and the ideal of working for the sake of it should be sufficient enough for everybody. Now there is a good ideal if you want to call it that way , practice makes perfect. A lot of practice.

I have a task for you, make me a 3d model of something... just to keep your mind occupied.

if I understand this right - you need to take a break for a little while.

take up painting or woodcarving, buy a boat and play pirates, get a girlfriend - anything but computers.

forcing yourself to create doesn't work, ideas come when you're doing other stuff.

What really helps me is doing comps. Current or old they are great for getting a baser idea. It lends more to the project mentality of being a working artist with having some form of concept and your restrictions given to you. Winning or not you still get experience. And the more Pencil or in this case mouse/tablet pen mileage you get the better you will be.

Ideal, or Idea?

I am not good at english at all, but those are totally different words.
Ideal is your political, or ethic achievments... your believe in some sort of ideology.
Idea is just Idea.
Some interesting thing that falls on your mind, while you're sitting in toilet.
