he he it´s just photoshop. It isn´t a real vector art, all done with the polygonal lazoo. But it´s a good way to get started in the vectorart

The logo is mine.

You might create darker areas to give it some contrast, try importing it into Illustrator or other vector. Or import a picture of yourself into Photoshop, posterize it to 5 levels and take it into your vector application to retrace it there.
I love this kind of "dry" shading, no gradients.

3Dan-3DT - I tryed to add darken areas but they make the image less fresh. So I only used lights and highlights. Posterize is an easy way to locate the gradient levels but it drains a creative part. And if we are talking about of "repaint" a photo with plain colors the creativity part is less than 0.
When I do a composition or a draw using reference images or registerde images I want to create something new with it. Not a recoloured, repainted or redrawed one. Thats the only way I tolerate the usage of reference material. For me and for others.

RBL, it's very nice. it's very clean and effective. I also like the logo very much. I'd like to see some more of this, but I'd like to see it, pulled into more graphics design elements, something bigger. Great stuff.

I see your point and totally agree.
My suggestion is due to my love of vector art, i work in Illustrator and Corel, never use the gradient tool and seldom the blend tool. It's hard edges for me!

And that pic is offensive and breaks the first rule of vector art: No Blurred edges.

I like your self portrait in vector art, i've never thought about drawing myself in that style. It's a great piece of art though, well done.

Would you mind if other people posted their own pieces of vector art here ??
