Wow! What a wonderfull work!
Very impressive like an other artist "the art of sparth" which i like very well. Gefällt mir so gut das ich mich frage, ob ich nicht mal eines Deiner Bilder als Concept für´s 3D Modelling benutze...natürlich nur mit Deiner Erlaubnis! Grüße nach Nürnberg Martin |

Top notch as ever malo, love the bulky design of the ships, they look like they can take a beating and still fly.

@ Hulahuga - Thanks a bunch, mate! Not sure if it will be windows - but I think I'll add some structure to it and maybe I'll rework the lower area on that image.
@ Martin - Thanks so much for your kind words! Much much appreciated! And thanks for the comparision - but to be honest - until I'll reach his level, I have to walk a long road myself. Danke noch mal! Kein Thema - jederzeit gerne. Wenn du di bilder in HiRes haben willst - einfach kurz Bescheid sagen ![]() Grüße nach Rennerod ![]() Markus @ Avatar-3D - Thanks a ton, Bro! Really glad you like it. Some stuff I started on Friday and pushed it a bit further today. C&C are welcome and thanks for watching! Cheers |

Pandora??
I think color zones are nice to some extent, but I also think that now the light doesn't seem consistent in where it goes orange, i.e the leaves and the rocks to the left of the character ![]()

this one loks great
. realy like the amount of detail in here . but i think a little more life in this scene would looks even better - some animals near river. and i think you could push it even more and put some blue cat monkeys flying on dinosaur birds. .but to be more serious - refine it a little and its ready to go on my wall . |

@malo,
no problem! I recognize when i see excellent work!

@ hulahuga - yeah - th other side of it
Thanks, sir! True thing - I changed the colors a bit on the left side to get a higher warm/cold contrast. Not sure if I keep it as it is… will see![]() @ paulius-st - Thanks so much, buddy! Yeah - you're right. Maybe I'll get back to it and add some blue cat monkeys (nice idea btw ). I'll work on it a bit more and will make it ready for your wall ![]() @ Martin - Thanks for your kind words, mate! Kein Thema - sag einfach kurz bescheid - wann und welches - und ich lass dir einen download link zukommen. Keine Eile ich kenn das nur zu genüge mit der knappen Freizeit![]() Grüße Markus Some stuff I did yesterday - not really an unexpected story (knight, village, bridge and horse), but at least something to post. Thanks for taking a minute to watch it. |

I like this last one with the knight. Great atmosphere !
I am doing some knight theme as well, hopefully will soon post something here. Nowhere near as good, and I work very slow but I will manage to post it one of these days. For us beginners, on the technical side, how do you define your colour palettes ? Do you already have predefined sets that you use depending on the mood you want to achieve or do you just pick colours as you go ? If so, how do you pick them, how do you tune them ? Sorry for so many questions ![]() |

i'll be waiting for my wallpaper
.as for the last one - a realy nice peace. i set it as my wallpaper till my wife changes it to some kittens or huskey dog stuff . and i see another element apearing in your paintings as a style thing next to birds in far horizon - falling red leafs. you know these scsents could be your sign and a good book cover for your art book .here is my fast little doodle to show you the idea. ofcourse you can do the same lits better cause o'm not a ilustrator and many things are wrong in this picture . |
