It is very nice model. How many polygons. You could rework the hands I think. Make them have fingers instead of one big blob In any case, with a simple face texture this character is pretty darn nice.

Hey, thanks! I'm actually redoing the hands. I thought I could get away with doing mitts instead of fingers and just texturing them.

The model at the moment is 1680 polys/faces, but there is some unnecessary polys on the seam of the pants and the belt as well as the shoes.. so, I say I could get it down to about 1500 or so. I’ll post a textured version later.

That pretty darn low, very nice.
It may be the lighting, but the legs seems rather flat and boxy.

The legs are relatively round. It's cause of the smoothed edges. (smoothing groups)

I am not that happy with the head,. but the hands are okay...

What do you think?

Hey Goose,
Looks great, i love the style. The only thing i noticed is you need to turn some polys at the knees to make them look right. Other than that depending on how close the model is going to be on screen mits for hands are good.
How many polys are you at?
Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Ya, i guess the knees could use some more tweeking.

And about the hands., I suppose it I could get away with mitts, If I was actually using it for a game.. it's just for fun at the moment.

the poly count is approx 1500.
