i have a rules question. i paint like a 3 year old on extasy, and would like to join the speedpainting challenges every now and then. when it comes to human figures, or details like hands etc - can i use a biped of 3ds max, to pose it like those wooden-art-dolls and paint over the rendering, or for example make a photo and paintover? or does the whole picture have to bee all from scratch without any help. im asking this, because i expect a higher learning curve wehn i start to draw things like they have to be from the beginning, instead of drawing things like i guess they are, and then screw my eyemeasurement for perspective and proportions. thanks guys.
