Well I don't know why or where you are asking from but I will gladly answer what real time means. Or at least it means this to me.

Instead of rendering the model I have active control to view a render quality version of it in my view port. In the view port, lets say perspective, I can rotate it move it and play with it all while it retains a high level of texture detail.
