what i found the hardest part with maya was all those link table things that they have for materials.. it was a bit much.. i love max#s way of assigning materials.. and producing renders.. its so much easier..
does anyone know of a good urr tutorial for vray hair modifier...

For straight modeling I have found Silo to be the best solution for me. It has the most efficient layout and use of tools. IMHO
However it is only really a modeling software so you would need another software for animation and rendering. http://nevercenter.com/silo/ |
