Old Man

Original concept by Oscar Jimenez. This is a personal project that I completed to teach myself Renderman 21 and practice creating a model from a 2D concept. Renderman for me was definitely a learning curve, but this project taught me a lot! This is the first of a set of three projects I am working on to practice Renderman further, so I'm excited to continue to use the software and learn as much as I can. The bust was modeled in Zbrush first, then retopo'd in Maya. The hair was done using XGEN. Renderman 21 was used to render out the bust, and then photoshop was used to composite in the final color correction and fine detail of the render.
