The idea of this challenge is to teach people produce great looking sculpts while working "under pressure". You can finish your sculpt in 30 mins or in 2 hours - it's up to. But try to put as much effort into it as you can. It's not some doodles we are looking for,but guality sculpts

I've also edited the rules. Now it's 3 hours. I don't think anyone has been working for more than 3 hours on it so far,so hopefully no harm done.

Thanks! I think the amount of time should vary depending on the project. For a head, 4 hours is plenty. Maybe 3 would be better.

**WIP** 1 hour and a half.

Woah, great stuff, Teyon and Wveird!

Wveird: I think yours is missing some teeth, to make him look orcish.

Regarding the four hour time allocated to this challenge, it might be a bit too much for pros, but I wanted beginners to get into this as well. This challenge should be easy to make, let everyone get the hang of it. In time it will get harder and, hopefully, more interesting. The rules may change, depending on how everything turns out. We're all on new ground here.

Keep 'em coming!

Wveird:Looks nice but a bit too generic.Try making things like nose, mouth, ears look as natural as possible and don't even bother making the details at this point.Maybe look at some photos first and then get back to sculpting.
By the look of it iI'd say that you actually rushed the whole process. You've got 3 hours so just play with the model. If you don't like the way it looks simply use the move tool and give the head a new design

Teyon: Good stuf! You were always fast at these things What software are you using? I forgot the name of it and Silo just keeps coming to my mind...
You are right about the time limit. It will depend on the themes we choose.

I usually use either Silo or ZBrush. This time, I used ZBrush. Was pretty quick. About 2 hours (a little less but...whatever).

I hope you guys like and thanks for the kind words!

Everyone notice that the time limit is now 3 hours. Perhaps 4 was a bit too much.

Teyon: Wonderful work. No crits from me.

DJdude: Why don't you just go over to the Mudbox website and get the trial version?

after a sculpting for 15 minutes i noticed the symmetry wasnt perfect. the teeth were off to the left a bit making them eventually go through the lip on one side. can we recenter everything before we start?

I noticed the symmetry thing too,but it didnt bother me as it was pretty easy to hide it.But i guess you could recenter everything, but you'd better wait for a mod to confirm
