There are some tutorials maybe the best ones ever for beginners in 2d concept I have found.of course 3d total have very good tutorials too. Anyone who doesn't know anything and want to understand the basics in concept speed painting etc.. must go there. the site is full of free learning videos, the pay ones are very goods too. The site was created for Xia Taptara an illustrator.

You can also type "photoshop painting" or "Gimp", "Artrage", "Corel Painter"... on google or youtube, but you'll have to select...
