Guardian of Mordor

My first artwork! I've used Arnold for render in Maya, texture with Mari and comped in Nuke. Entire scene done with Zbrush. It's based on Lord of the Rings.

Accept any kind of critique Thanks

your subject looks like he is made of clay and is poorly sculpted. the skin has no texture and the anatomy seems wrong. May be its the pose?

why would you use all of those different programs if this is the first piece of work youv done??? i suggest you stick to zbrush and photoshop for now. id look more at composition too, if the creature is the thing that you spent most of your time sculpting don't hide it behind a load of nuke fx and give it a more prominent position, not many peop[le are going to say "nice doorway", and learn about lighting in your render, the whole underside of your creature is in complete darkness yet its standing in front of a fire
