It is simply frightening, the detail that this sculpt goes into. It's quite honestly beautiful to look at.

The only thing I wonder is how well those little spiky elements are going to transition to a low poly cage. It'd be amazing if you could keep those elements incorporated, because they look excellent, but I think it'll be tough.

Some get all nervous and wet their pants, but not me. I went straight on and pooped three panties in a row.
Grab this guy, and L3XICON's Goliath of Nature and two or three others, and 3DT will snatch the main prizes once more.
It's so cool dude.

Ugga!

Oh wow, yeah that's an awesome looking sculpt, and I think you're heading in the right direction with the sketch you have for the loin cloth.

This is truly amazing talent i am seeing here. love the 3d sculpt and concept art

The only crit i have to give is, and please don't hate me for this, its abit un-original in the term of design. As for me it gives a close resemblance to the trolls from lord of the rings. The warrior ones from return of the king.

Zbrush workflow

Awesome sculpt!

Quick question about your process:

Once you have your high poly zbrush sculpt, what method do you find is best to transfer those normals to your low poly?

Very impressive and professional;
You you please supply some technical details? For instance how many polys (in millions, doesn't have to be the exact number of course) is it made of?

Thanks.

With this entry and Vitaly Bulgarov's no one else stands a chance! 3DT FTW!!! My one very minor crit is that I feel like his lips are a bit to feminine and just throw me off in the face area, it may just be cuz Im so mesmerized by the detail though. Fantastic scuplt especially on the feet and the left arm bracer.

Thanks to all very much guys)!!! so many comments)

TheCheshireCat: about 1,5 - 2 millions

Puckducker: don't worry about those little spiky elements)))))I shall make it without problems)

VersionThirst: I export a middle_poly_model from zbrush to maya and make a low_poly over it(snap vertex)

, after completed low_poly(build and unwrap) I bake normal map in 3ds_max,because it's comfortable for me
