Lost Jungle the Tree Village

Well throwing my hat in the ring here getting started I hope I can do this right so far 5 minutes modeling to get the basic tree shape.

Well it is a bit of a simple start. I plan on it being quite large. i will make things in pieces. to show my progress now I am about 30 minutes into it. i tend to work with shaders more than texture maps because UV mapping is my most loathed task.

Shur'tal I use Wings 3D for all modeling it is quite good at what it does but it is limited in what it can do in some ways. It is only a box modeler. I have problems getting the proper look for the greyscale renders and I use the colors to show where I will put different shaders on to get a look.

chichiri thanks I am still on the fence about it but trying to go for a look to have it look like a part of the tree the platforms are leaves etc.

Got nothing done really just wanted a better look at the mesh to see how it will look rendered I need to work on different parts and other buildings keeping with a similar style.

Ahh this is looking really cool. Reminds me of a toy or something. Be cool to see if design or model that person or thing that lives there, just out of curiosity. Keep it up, its turning out awesome!
