Question Wich software to use for modeling mountains

I want to model a part of the mountains in Bolzano (Italy) in 3d.
I have the topographic map with al the lines already moved to the correct height in dwg format for autocad.
But I don't know how to tranfsform this into a solid 3dmodel
The only idea I have is to close all the lines with the same heigt, convert them into polylines and try to model the mountains using the loft tool in autocad, but this would take days to do.

This is the dwg file of the topographic lines:

Can anybody help me with how to get a 3dmodel of this faster?

PS: sorry for my bad English, I'm not a native speaker.

Kind regards

Hi Matthijs,

The link doesn't work, so I can't check the file for you.

It seems you have a decent amount of information..
I think Loft in 3ds max can do this pretty fast, if you know how it works..
Thanks for liking and sharing my Facebook Page!

3dsmax but is expensive software , your alternative is Blender for free or Sketchup
