These ones came in from 'rockyourteeth'

Hi. Well, a lot of my favorite tutorials have come straight from 3D total's site! But as far as others go, I've gotten a lot out of Neil Bleven's list of tutorials (http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_educat..._education.htm). He does a great job of making complex things like art theory and light physics very understandable and applicable to 3D design.

Here's one in particular that helped my understanding of what makes a good image (3d or not!):

The Joan of Arc tutorial here, feeling its age, but still one of my favourite organic modeling tutorials.

Camera mapping 3ds max

I loved this one, a camera mapping technique in 3ds max. Very nice.

This one is for a start, will add more later

http://www.simplycg.net/viewtopic.php?t=1745

Theres also one nice series of tuts for modelling Messerchmitt BF-109E, suitable for beginners and intermediate users. It shows the entire process, from the beginning to the project completion. Worth to check out, just follow the series.

Me personally i don't like bookmarking - don't ask why. But each time i try to remember a thing i have to refresh my mind, and quite often i stumble on something different, better or just plain fresh...

Again on a personal note, I'm quite fond of the guy Louis Marcoux from Autodesk

LINK

with one of better tutorials about animating objects so they appear as being built on the scene through various ways:
LINK

Whoever follows AU virtual might have seen this before.

If i remember few more, I'll be sure to post.

Cheers 3DTotal and Tom for setting things to motion once again.

Here are sculpting tutorials I used many times:

I'm pretty sure this is the best clothes sculpting tutorial out there. There are even fantastic Zbrush brushes for free!
http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/

A very goo tutorial for general head proportions
http://eat3d.com/free/mudbox_head

I haven't had to occasion to apply the notions of this one, but this BPR render tutorial sure is awesome and very well explained
http://dbystedt.wordpress.com/2012/0...n-zbrush-4-r2/

And it had been posted before, but Ryan Kingslien Zbrush Tuts on youtube really are excellent!

I'll edit this post if I can think of others

Wow this thread is already fantastic!

Not sure if anyone has linked these yet, but I always go to these threads for inspiration... They're Kevin Johnstone's art dumps from Gears of War 2 and 3. It's not a tutorial in the traditional sense, but if you take the time to read through, he basically gives a mastercourse on modular environment design!

Gears of War 2 - Modular Environment Design
Gears of War 3 - Modular Environment Design

And since I'm on the subject, here's a whole bunch of modular environment stuff for tiling floors, rock walls, bricks, cliffs, wood, etc... It's possible some of these are showing their age.

Polycount Environment Sculpting Hub

Will update as I think of more!
