Im done
![]() Got some serious render times on this one. Probably because of the lights and the high res textures. Softwear: 3D Studio Max 2010, Vray render Modelling: 108min Arranging: 10min Textures: about 4h(hand made) Rendering: 3h 4min(textured version) Postproduction: 5min A fun one, had some problems finding time for renders tho. Is there a way to render e.g. 50% of an img and save it and do the other half later on? Noise comes from jpg compression down to the 190kb limit per img |

Wow, very nice apMuskel.
3DS Max 2014, 95 Minutes. ![]() ![]() ![]() The wall and logo were rushed, so they havent came out that well, and the materials(especially the wood ![]() ![]() Also, the lanes look quite a bit shorter then they are, which makes the render look odd. ![]() Just a quick question as it is a long time since I've been participating: In rule 7 it says that building the scene to show your models aren't included in the time. What exactly does that mean? E.g. if I create one model of a bowling ball, is duplicating it and placing it in the scene for "free"?

Clones, Duplicates, Instances, Copies of a mesh you've made, providing you've made it from scratch will be considered "free" however the time taken to copy, move around or place into the scene will still be counted into the time taken to create the scene/model.
