Korg Krome (Finishing the PMC)

Hey guys,

Check the PMC challenges on the main forum page for the actual WIP stages of modeling, but I, and a few others were modeling the Korg Krome from images alone.

I didn't get to finish the actual modeling (the back), or get to do any texturing/shading, except for some clays.

Well, this thread is going to be dedicated to getting the keyboard completed, as it'll make a nice little portfolio addition.

I have added textures (need to do some correcting here), and added some shaders, and of course, lighting to show the model off. I'm very happy with the button lights now I've found a way to realistically shade them.
I've only lightly used Photoshop to add glows/level adjustments

I still need to model the back, and luckily, I shouldn't mess up the UV's doing this, as the UV is poly selected, i.e, its only being affected by the top layers, so adding geometry on the sides shouldn't affect anything.

I hope you like, and continue to follow this thread.
It has been a rather fast process, and I only started modeling on the 1st December, and have gotten to this stage.

I say, only a few more days is needed and I can put it in finished artworks. Then, because I've had a break, I should be more motivated to finish the Xbox 360 console off, before starting something 100% new

Software:
Modo, Photoshop, (& some Linkin Park music, haha...)

So, without further adue, here is what I have:

A bigger render can be found here. I'm going to change from Photobucket, to something a little better thanks to JHarford's idea, but I'm afraid before bed, you will have to deal with Photobucket:

Nice, with you and your good shaders, it's going to be a eryv good piece (gallery?).

Only thing bugging me is that there's too much glow on the white LED lights.

Thanks McFly Yeah, I may attempt to put it into the gallery when I'm done. Worth a shot!

I agree now I look at it about the glows. I will tone them down. It was really early in the morning, so I'll blame that for the oversight

More details to come next
