Talking M9A1 Beretta

My attempt at a realistic 3D model of a M9A1 Beretta pistol.

Modeled entirely on Maya and textured using Quixel’s ddo and ndo within photoshop

I am trying to build my profile on artstation, if you like this please support my post on my artstation

Nice looking model. If I may offer a quick critique since I have a particular experience in Art Direction and building weapons in 3D at work. Im the Art Director and manager of the 3DVFX dept at Meggitt and we train military and police all over the world. Sorta like the biggest video game you can imagine. Now on to the point.
The handle has the same bump all over the handle which should be looked into and change the metal on the outer limits of the handle to have a lesser scale sized generic bump. Then the actual handle grips should concave out and they are also a different material. You can assume plastic or woodand it should be evident of the seperated area as there are two bolts/screw that are shown holding this piece on both sides of the weapon. Work on changing those materials so there is a clear definition between the two pieces of the handle.
