Yes it is. That's why you can't start with pre-made ones. I hope you have time for another go. There's still a week left.

ok cool. Yeah I was gonna say, if not that'd be quite a gaping loophole.
Thanks!

I'm thinking I'll try, we'll see how much endurance I have (already been burning the oil for a week now o.0).

i do have one question. do we have to model teeth and gums from scratch or is it allowed to use premade ones...not sure if they count as basemesh

Well.....I started my model over hoping I could get cam studio to work and I tried to speed up my sculpting. I managed to record fine the first night but tonight camstudio crashed/froze? again before I could save. (it's stuck in the task bar and says "flashing"). I'll post what I've done so far but I'm not sure if I'll continue if I can't get the video for it. This is 5.4 hours so far.

You should create everything specifically for this contest.

Artistic nudity is allowed, but nothing too explicit of course.

Everybody's stuff looks great!

A couple more updates from me, I might as well finish what I started. Let me know if this is too many colours please. 7.57 hours so far. Also, is posing part of the time limit?

The story is that humans have evolved to live with the conditions left behind. The air is badly poisoned and the sun rarley makes it through the haze to the earth. Our mouths have formed a natural filter over them that opens sideways to reveal our mouths. The third eye acts like night vision and UV protection at the same time (our old eyes have grown very weak and sensative to light). There are also gills behind the ears (like in the movie water world). And the ears themselves have also formed natural filters to keep out the bad air. The atmosphere is so bad, we've taken to living in the sewers.
