its almost December and we'll have a Christmas and New year approach closely, so maybe we can paint something like:
- When Santa Claus coming to town.
- Share your most unforgetable Christmas event.
- Beautiful Christmas eve.
will think about the other later.

Or-or maybe "Santa has stuck in the chimney" ... or-or "Santa on a diet - how would he look like when he lost 200 pounds out of 300, wearing the same clothes?"

Or "The reason for Rudolf's red nose - why is it red?"

Serioursly - the first one I may use ... I really like the idea... it could be kinda cartoony feel Input?

I love it! The warrior/alien/hero conception is getting old.
I really like the Santa Stuck and Rudolf ideas.

well, I did some scanning over the brainstorming and I picked out some ideas that I liked:

Smack Monkey – a sci-fi or fantasy sports match (quidich anyone?)
sewer cities
post apocolyptic environments
a tragic death without showing any bodies (my note: hero’s grave, for example?)

David Ciprian (and others) – Cataclysm (meteors, planet collision, floods, very powerful storms, you name it)
Calm Before the Storm
Warmachines

Robots

Scenes, such as cliffs, mountains, oceans, or abysses

I'll do some brainstorming, too, and see what I can come up with.

i think something more abstract would be a better idea, maybe emotions like anger, joy, sadness, etc.

to reflect those will be more interesting and challenging than painting a robot.

Do you mean a "tripych"? Like the Garden of Delights by Bosch?

That would be a really cool idea...perhaps for two or three challenges in a row (one week for the centre panel, one for the two side panels, perhaps?)

*shrugs* there's diptychs and tryptychs (prolly spelled wrong), i just thought it's hard enough for some people to do just one piece for a challenge, why do 3?

maybe a collab b/w ppl like when we were kids and you fold the paper and each kid draws one part of the monster type thing?

I tried once a triptych - with Twins - remember? Very little participation... If you want - give me some ideas for them.

"Folding paper" challenge - could be interesting...

How about colouring some lineart? I've seen that it was pretty popular on other forums.

daneel - we'll try that too... we'll see if people like it.
