Unfortunatelly I won't be joining the next challenge as per rules and regulations, I might be one of the judges though (rules again...), BUT I will be posting some concepts and some work, nothing fancy I guess since I'll try to focus on realistic mattes this time...

But whatever it will be, I hope you guys join again! I'll try to post comments to to make this challenge ALIVE!

Ah, nice entries ! Gratz to all the winners ! +) Sadly i could not finish mine on time due to the end of the 3rd year at uni : ) and preparations for shows at framestore ( june 18th - london) and New Designers in July =)

Waiting for new challenge =) and now i have time to finish )

Hi guys

I know i'm late with this but here it is, changed it completely. Nocturn8 had a valid point so I decided to change it. Incomplete (need to spend
at least 3-4 hours more on this), since i'm late I decided to post as is. Only got my graphics tablet about a week ago. Here's final image.

� I started with a basic 3D model of everything.
� Then took it into the image editing software, where i approached the
texturing (rough) layer by layer.
� Finally did the touch ups & detail

Took about 5 days to get this far.
Let me know what you think, any & all comments welcome.....

cool design but image looks very flat form the render would look cool if the mountains in the background where blurred and at a darker tone

I agree, still a lot of tones missing especially in the background & on the waterfalls... I'll make sure to complete a project next time.

Awesome work guys!!! simply amazing. Anyone have any tips to getting started with this sort of thing? stock photo sites, how you do things ect. I'd love to give this a shot next time so any info would be great
