Brussel Sprout - Snow Creature - Aquatic Blubber Beast

Alright, cool topic i'm in!

Thinking of an aquatic walrus type beast, big, fat blubbery with freaky features. Large webbed feet for good swimming and to not sink in the snow.

Concept so far, not sure about the rear end yet. Flippers? Tail? Little crocodile type legs? or just like a maggoty body? Open to suggestions a crits!

Cheers

Refining the concept a bit more...fin thingy to absorb heat from the sun, and to aid swimming. any comments suggestions?

Needs to be fat like your first concept...perhaps even fatter...and smaller legs and head to make the fat look even fatter.

By slimming him, he no longer looks arctic...just deep-water aquatic. So I suggest lots and lots of blubber

Quick update, bout halfway through the low res model and poly limit about 5k at the mo.

Still debating weather or not to bother with the fin?

Keep the crits coming.

good progress, I personally would like to see more sag to the neck, think faaaaaaaaaaat but wiggly. It would add a great touch. Also, I really like how the first concept's head looks like it really has the capacity to 'suck' into itself, maybe even have a totally different texture, like tranlucent skin or something of the sort.

I think you can exagerate the fat mass much more. Also the body seems a bit small compared to head/arms I think. Groeten.

Reminds me a bit of the slimy worms i Diablo 2 .

You could try making a leech mouth, just a thought..

Yeah thats the idea.

In super subzero the beast can tuck its head into fatty hood, kinda like a fat foreskin.

Good crits guys will take em on board.

Right, still debating weather i keep the fin on the back or not. I put the vote to you guys. what you think? Also toying with a tentacle/tounge, with suckers like an octopus. Still needs teeth and have at least 2k triangles left.

Need to get a move on with this!

I think keeping fin on the back looks better and second tongue is more fit with your creature..

I say yes to both the fin and the tongue.
Looking real cool so far!
