Shirro - Zombie Weapon - ZSawGun

Hello

A long time since I've posted anything.
But now I have some spare time and thought I'd join this unique competition.

The idea for the weapon was to combine all aspects of a good zombieweapon into one.

Assault rifle, chainsaw and grenade launcher make a devastating combo.
In the picture there's Knights Armament concept gun, a hedgetrimmer and the sawblade from Doom.
The other one is a quick sketch to work out the basics.

Will post more as I progress.

rotating the blade would definitely make it read more chainsaw-y.
the body of the gun, especially the handguard(not round enough?), seems a little thin - also, if the lower rail-section weren't as tall the gun would seem larger/more in proportion.

Joseph Pomeisl: Tried to work in your notes. It's now a lot more chainsaw-y

Had to change a few thing to make the chainsaw fit, but kept the main design.
Never mind the textures, they're just blocked out.

I think I'll go hi-poly to get some normal maps going...
A bit rusty, so wish me luck!

pretty cool - the upper handle looks better that way; nice. maybe scale up the charging handle, just to make it more obvious
(the pixelated textures, i like - temp or not) keep it up
