Here is a wip of my entry, I am making a dragon-esque creature. Not sure if I'll make modifications but just wanted to show you my progress. Cheers. |

Franc: great one!! I believe this was really fast to do, since I saw your amazing work on the DWIV site.
M_Cederstrom: liked yours as well...kinda scary a horned lion, that became a lethal weapon =D

Okay, finished the linework and started the greyscale painting.
![]() Just gotta keep following along with how THIS video does things: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/do...ergrowth/48478 and I'll be good ![]() M_Cederstorm: That looks fierce, man! That sky actually does a lot to establish the right tone. Since the submission process is currently not working correctly, are you gonna go back and play around with anything though? Seems like, with 7 or so days left, it would seem like the perfect opportunity to try out some crazy ideas... Franc: Cool design! Love the alien/demonic/unreal animals - that thing is a hell of a pet, and you did a great job rendering it so far! Resenhista: Crazy bionic dog, man! That thing is very well rendered, though I gotta admit, I'm not a fan of the sheet - I'd much rather see the mechanical detail all over than see some of it covered up, but I'm greedy ![]() Back to work! Or playing Dreamfall, whichever ![]() Update: Refreshed my browser and saw some new stuff, so a quick update: ![]() Dark Maggot: That's a cool design man. Beautiful linework, too - I can't do clean linework for shizzle, so that's really impressive to me. Reminds me a little of some Ralph Bakshi stuff, like the orcs from the Hobbit (I think - haven't seen his cartoons in forever). Resenhista: really slick final. That came out beautifully, though it's very dark. If you tweak it, maybe turn down the contrast a bit - bring up some of that detail work. Show it off, man! ![]()

I think I'm done, though I would definitely go back and do more if I get the time. I liked my technique, but I definitely cut some corners to get it "done" today. A lot of corners
![]() Here's where my 2D stands: ![]() Or, for a little bit more polish, this: ![]() Not sure if I wanna keep the plastic layer there though, since it drowns out the piece. What do you guys think? Feel free to drop critiques ![]() Miycko: That coloring job is looking sick so far! Keep going. Lovely digital brushwork. EDIT: Did I misspell, "Commander"? Christ ![]()
