Okay now it's time to start working in the light and glow from her hands and I've just blocked in a background, need to start to get a feel for what will work.
Still need to go back and have another look at her eyes! |

Looking good man, time is really short - i kno how you feel dude! Just a note - i'd go without the lens flare - its a pretty cliched and over used lil effect, i reckon if you push the light and add some sub surface scatter effect to the fingers and even to the nose it would be a much 'healthier' effect overall. Additionally it might help to add some backlighting/rim lighting to the girl if you're going to use a dark and similar color background as her - it'd help bring the focus to her and make her pop from the background. Another thing to consider is adding some wetness/specular highlights to the eyes to make them pop more - theyre receding into shadow at the moment. Take it or leave these comments at your artistic discretion man - i only write this stuff coz i rarely see anyone putting up constructive criticism - which in my opinion is the only way one improves. Otherwise keep it coming man!! lookin really cool! Good Luck.

I agree with atahan_zugul the lens flare is the weakest element rest is beautiful.

elgama dalton_muniz Thanks guys
![]() atahan_zugul Thanks’ great input mate! I've not used any Photoshop lens effects, they are just vector shapes created in illustrator then blurred and layer effects added in PS, but I will do more to the overall "glow and light". Background rim lighting is a must, she will need to pop out from the background as it will be quite dark. The eyes defiantly need some work!! I'm a bit further on than this latest post, so with a little luck and juggling work commitments should just make it ![]() Blender-Man Cheers man hopefully I'll sort the flare and glow!! |

Dude - really cool - the background you painted up really sells the image - awesome paint up. Still not sold on the lens flare look, but hell - its open to artistic impression i guess - to each his own. Cant wait to see the final product - definitely be rooting for it to be in the top 3. Keep it comin man.
